Hi friend! Your slow cooker isn’t just for savory meals it’s for desserts too! Today I’m showing you how to make small batch desserts in my 2 qt crockpot. I’ll show you how easy it is to make a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, A Cherry Crisp, Muddy Buddies, and a delicious fluffy, fudgy delicious chocolate cake.

Crockpot Cherry Crisp
Ingredients
- 1 c Cherry Pie Filling
- 2 T Almond Flour
- 2 T Gluten Free Oats
- 2 T Brown Sugar
- ½ t Cinnamon
- 1 T Butter
Instructions
- Spray the inside of the crockpot and then place the cherry pie filling in the crockpot.
- Make the crumb topping by combining almond flour oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Place the crumb topping on top of the cherry pie filling.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. The last 30 minutes of cooking time you will need to vent your crockpot lid to encourage the release of condensation and browning.
- Remove from the crockpot and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Crockpot Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Ingredients
- 1 T Brown Sugar
- ¼ c Pineapple Tibits
- 4 Maraschino Cherries
- 1 T Melted Butter
- ¼ t Vanilla
- ½ c Self Rising Flour
- ½ c Milk
Instructions
- Line the crockpot with parchment and spray with oil
- Combine the pineapple and brown sugar and stir until the brown sugar has dissolved into the pineapple
- Add the cherries to the crockpot and top with the pineapple mixture
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, milk, and vanilla and stir to combine
- Pour this mixture on top of the pineapple.
- Top with the melted butter
- Cook on low for 4 hours and high for 2 hours. The last 30 minutes of cooking time you will need to vent your crockpot lid to encourage the release of condensation.
- Once the cake is cooked through place between 2 plates and flip the cake on to the plate.
- Remove the parchment
- Enjoy!
Muddy Buddies
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice Chex Corn Chex or Chocolate Chex cereal (or combination)
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 T butter or margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
- Add the chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in the crockpot and cook on Low heat for 30-45 minutes
- Stir and if the mixture is smooth and flowy add the vanilla and stir then add the cereal and stir.
- Pour the powdered sugar into a ziploc bag.
- Seal bag; shake until well coated.
- Spread onto a baking sheet to cool.
- Enjoy!
Crockpot Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- ½ c Self-Rising Flour
- ¼ c Sugar
- 1/8 t Salt
- 2 T Cocoa Powder
- ¼ t Vanilla
- ¼ c Brown Sugar
- ¼ c Milk
- 1 Egg
- 2 T Melted Butter
Instructions
- Line the crockpot with parchment and spray with oil to prevent sticking
- In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients and stir to combine
- In a separate bowl combine all the wet ingredients except for the melted butter
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to combine
- Pour this mixture into the crockpot then top the mixture with the melted butter
- Cook on low for 4 hours and high for 2 hours. The last 30 minutes of cooking time you will need to vent your crockpot lid to encourage the release of condensation.
- Once the cake is cooked through place between 2 plates and flip the cake on to the plate.
- Remove the parchment
- Allow cake to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Enjoy!
