Crockpot Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  

  • ½ c Self-Rising Flour
  • ¼ c Sugar
  • 1/8 t Salt
  • 2 T Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ t Vanilla
  • ¼ c Brown Sugar
  • ¼ c Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 T Melted Butter

Instructions
 

  • Line the crockpot with parchment and spray with oil to prevent sticking
  • In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients and stir to combine
  • In a separate bowl combine all the wet ingredients except for the melted butter
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to combine
  • Pour this mixture into the crockpot then top the mixture with the melted butter
  • Cook on low for 4 hours and high for 2 hours. The last 30 minutes of cooking time you will need to vent your crockpot lid to encourage the release of condensation.
  • Once the cake is cooked through place between 2 plates and flip the cake on to the plate.
  • Remove the parchment
  • Allow cake to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy!
