Rice Cooker Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Water
  • 4 Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Add the 2 cups of water to the rice cooker pot.
  • Put the eggs into the steamer basket
  • Cook on the Steam setting for 10 minutes
  • After cooking is complete, place eggs in to an ice water bath
  • Peel and Enjoy!

Rice Cooker Blueberry Pancake with Lemon Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pancake Mix
  • 2/3 c Milk
  • ¼ c Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 TMelted Butter
  • ¼ c Powdered Sugar
  • 1 t Lemon Juice

Instructions
 

  • Mix pancake mix, milk, egg, and blueberries in a bowl
  • Spread melted butter in the bottom and up the sides of the rice cooker pot
  • Pour the pancake mix into the rice cooker pot.
  • Cook on the white rice setting
  • Check the pancake and make sure it’s cooked through. If it is not cooked through cook for another 5 minutes on the white rice setting.
  • Once cooking is complete, turn the pancake onto a plate.
  • Mix the lemon juice and the powdered sugar together to make the glaze
  • Top pancake with the lemon glaze.
  • Enjoy!

Rice Cooker Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • ½ c Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 c Milk
  • ¼ c Raisins
  • 1 T Chopped Walnuts
  • ¼ t Cinnamon
  • 1/8 t Salt
  • 1 T Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and stir to combine
  • Grease the rice cooker pot
  • Pour oatmeal into the rice cooker and cook on the Oatmeal setting
  • Once cooking is finished, stir and taste the oatmeal
  • If the Oatmeal is not sweet enough, add more maple syrup.
  • Enjoy!

Breakfast Hash with an Over Easy Egg

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ c Diced Ham
  • 2 T Diced Onions
  • 2 T Diced Bell Pepper
  • 2 T Diced Zucchini
  • 1 c Diced Potatoes
  • T Butter
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1/8 t Salt
  • 1/8 t Pepper
  • ¼ t Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Egg

Instructions
 

  • Using the steam setting, cook the ham and veggies for 10 minutes, stirring at the 5 minute mark.
  • Crack the egg in a bowl and pour over the breakfast hash steam for 2 minutes.
  • Turn off the rice cooker and keep the lid closed for another 2 minutes
  • Open the lid and test the yolk. If the yolk is not cooked enough simply close the lid and wait for another 2 minutes until the yolk is done to your likeness.
  • Remove from the rice cooker and enjoy!

Rice Cooker Ham and Cheese Omelet

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ c Diced Ham
  • ½ c Shredded Cheese
  • ½ c Chopped Fresh Spinach
  • 2 T Diced Onions
  • 2 T Diced Peppers
  • 1 Eggs
  • ¼ c Milk
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 T Butter

Instructions
 

  • Using the steam function on your rice cooker, sauté the ham and the onion and peppers in the butter
  • Add the spinach and heat until softened
  • Mix together the eggs, salt and peeper, andthe milk
  • Add this mixture to the rice cooker andstir to combine.
  • Cook on the steam setting for 12 minutes
  • After cooking time is complete top with the cheese
  • Remove from the rice cooker and fold over
  • Enjoy!
