4 Thanksgiving Side Dishes that feed 4-6 people

Hi friend!

I have 4 side dishes you are going to want to make for your holiday meal. These recipes make an 8×8 pan size and feed 4-6, but if you are cooking for a crowd these recipes can be doubled to a 9x 13 sized pan that feeds 8-10 people . The recipes are listed below.

Sweet Potato Souffle (Sweet Potato Casserole)

Ingredients
  

  • For the casserole:
  • 1 40 oz can of Sweet Potatoes drained
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/2 c Milk
  • 3/4 c Brown Sugar only use half of it for the casserole save the other half for the crumble on top
  • For the brown sugar topping
  • 1/4 c Melted Butter
  • 1/2 c Pecans
  • The remaining Brown Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the casserole ingredients, mashing the sweet potatoes as you stir.
  • Once you have all of your casserole ingredients combined add to a greased casserole dish.
  • Combine the remaining butter, pecans and brown sugar and crumble on top of sweet potato mixture
  • Bake at 350 for 40 minutes
  • Optional add on- Mini Marshmallows. Add marshmallows to the top once the casserole has baked completely and place it under the broiler 2-3 minutes-watch it closely so it doesn’t burn

Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 c Chicken Broth
  • 1 Celery Stalk diced
  • 1/2 Onion diced
  • *optional add ins 1/2 t Rubbed Sage 1/2 t Poultry Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Make the cornbread according to the packages directions
  • Once the cornbread has cooled crumble.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients and place in to a greased casserole dish.
  • Bake at 400 for 45 minutes

Stove Top Green Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh Green Beans
  • 1/4 c diced onion
  • 2 pieces of Bacon
  • 1 c Chicken Broth
  • 2 Cups Water

Instructions
 

  • Cook your bacon until it is almost done and then cook the onions in the bacon grease
  • Once the Onions are translucent add in your green beans, chicken broth and water
  • Boil for 20 minutes until the green beans are fork tender.

Macaroni and Cheese

This three cheese macaroni and cheese comes together so simply. It can be just a stovetop mac and cheese or top with extra cheese and baked for a yummy baked mac and cheese.
Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c Elbow Noodles cooked and drained
  • 3 c Cheese I used Extra Sharp Cheddar, Mild Cheddar and Mozzarella
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/4 c Flour
  • 2 C Milk
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1/2 t Pepper
  • 1/4 t Dry Mustard

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat then add the seasonings.
  • Add flour and stir until smooth, continuously stirring for a minute
  • Add milk and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly
  • Once milk has thicken add 2 cups of cheese and melt the cheese into the sauce
  • Once your sauce has finished toss in your cooked macaroni noodles
  • Place into a casserole dish top with the remaining cheese
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
