Slow Cooker Parmesan Chicken Legs

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Brined Chicken Legs
  • 1 t Garlic Powder
  • 1 t Onion Powder
  • 1 t Paprika
  • 1/2 t Pepper
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 t Garlic Poder
  • 1 T Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 1 T Grated Parmesan Chseese

Instructions
 

  • Remove chicken from the brine and pat to dry
  • Create your seasoning mixture by combining the salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder
  • Season the chicken legs with the seasoning mixture
  • Place legs in a greased slow cooker
  • Cook on High for 3 Hours
  • Once the chicken has reached 165 remove from the slow cooker
  • If you would like a crispy skin place the legs on a foil lined sheet pan and broil until they are crispy (5-10 minutes)
  • While your chicken is under the broiler, make your garlic parm sauce by combining the butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, and dried parsley flakes
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and coat with the garlic parm sauce
  • Sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

Brine for Chicken
For every 4 legs place 1 c of water and ½ T Salt and ½ T of Sugar in a Ziploc bag. Brine for at least 4 hours or what I like to do is brine them and place them in the freezer in the brine.
To air fry these chicken legs, Air Fry at 400 for 20 minutes flipping at the 10 minute mark.
To oven roast these chicken legs , cook at 400 for 45 minutes.
