Easy Freezer Friendly Turkey Burgers in the Air Fryer

Hi friend! If you think you don’t like ground turkey, these turkey burgers will change your mind. They changed mine! This turkey burger recipe is about to become your next go to for burger night. They are juicy and colorful and topped with the most delicious Maple Dijon glaze. I cooked this in my air fryer but you could pan-fry or grill these as well.

Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 T Greek Seasoning
  • ¼ c Shredded Carrot
  • ¼ c Shredded Zucchini
  • ¼ c Panko if you use a less lean turkey you may need an additional 1 T
  • 1 Egg this is optional, if you use the leanest ground turkey you may need it to hold the burger patty together
  • 1 T White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 T Dijon Mustard
  • 2 T Maple Syrup
  • ¼ c Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine turkey, egg, Greek Seasoning, carrot, and zucchini and shape into a patty
  • Air Fry at 375 for 10-12 minutes
  • While the turkey burgers are cooking create your glaze.
  • Combine vinegar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and olive oil and mix well
  • Once the turkey burger has reached 165 degrees and is finished cooking, assemble the burger with your choice of burger toppings and top the turkey burger with the glaze.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

To pan fry: Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add ½ T of oil to the pan . Cook your turkey patty for 5-6 minutes on eat side. Check the temperature and once it reaches 165 degrees it is ready to serve.
To grill: Preheat the grill to medium high. Oil the grates using a paper towel with oil on it. Grill 5 minutes on each side. Check the temperature once the temperature is 165 degrees you are ready to serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 t Greek Seasoning
  • 2 T Shredded Carrot
  • 2 T Shredded Zucchini
  • 1.5 T Panko
  • 1 Egg this is optional, if you use the leanest ground turkey you may need it to hold the burger patty together
  • 1 t White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 t Dijon Mustard
  • 1 T Maple Syrup
  • 1 T Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine turkey, egg (if using), Greek Seasoning, carrot, and zucchini and shape into a patty

  • While the turkey meatloaf is cooking create your glaze.
  • Combine vinegar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and olive oil
  • Once the turkey burger is finished cooking, assemble the burger with your choice of burger toppings and top the turkey burger with the glaze.

Greek Seasoning Blend

This Greek seasoning blend is great as a salad dressing seasoning, a vegtable seasoning or on chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 T Oregano
  • 2 T Basil
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1 T Onion Powder
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 t Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all spices and store in an airtight container.

Maple Dijon Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 1 T White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 T Dijon Mustard
  • 2 T Maple Syrup
  • ¼ c Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • Store in a Mason jar in the refrigerator
