Today we’re turning that bounty into two delicious summer sandwiches: a crispy air fryer fried green tomato BLT and a fresh, vibrant caprese sandwich stacked with juicy tomatoes, basil and creamy mozzarella. Caprese Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • 4 Slices of Fresh Mozzarella
  • 4 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Bread of your choice

Instructions
 

  • Toast your bread
  • Create your sandwich by layering the tomato, mozzarella and basil leaves.
  • Top with a splash of Balsamic Vinegar and Enjoy!

Air Fryer Fried Green Tomato BLT Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Green Tomato
  • Flour
  • Egg
  • Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 T Corn Meal
  • Pimento Cheese
  • Arugula or Lettuce
  • 3 Slices of Bacon
  • Bread of your choice
  • Spray Oil
  • House Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon either in the air fryer at 350 for 7-10 minutes or in a pan on the stovetop
  • Sprinkle the tomatoes with House Seasoning
  • Bread your green tomatoes by dipping the slices in the flour, the egg, then the panko breadcrumbs/cornmeal mixture
  • Place in the air fryer and spray with the oil spray
  • Air fry at 400 for 14 minutes, flipping at the 7-minute mark
  • Assemble your sandwich by spreading the pimento cheese on top the bread then layer the tomatoes, arugula and bacon.
  • Enjoy!

Pimento Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • ½ c Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ c Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 T Chopped Roasted Red Peppers
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • ¼ t Onion Powder
  • ¼ t Ground Mustard
  • 1/8 t Cayenne Pepper more as needed to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

House Seasoning Blend

This is our go to seasoning blend. Use it on vegtables, burgers, or chicken it goes with everything!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 T Salt
  • 1 T Pepper
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1 T Onion Powder

Instructions
 

  • Combine all spices and store in an airtight container.
