The Easiest Stovetop Zuppa Toscana for Two

Stovetop Zuppa Toscana

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Slices of Bacon Chopped
  • ½ lb Mild Italian Sausage
  • 3 c Chicken Broth
  • 1 c Kale or Spinach
  • ½ c Heavy Cream
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 2 T Diced Onion
  • 2 Potatoes peeled and sliced thin
  • ½ c Water to be added at the end of cooking

Instructions
 

  • Brown the bacon, sausage and then add your onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onions are softened
  • Add the chicken broth and potatoes and bring to a boil
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover
  • Simmer until the potatoes are tender
  • Remove from the heat and add the water and spinach (or kale, whichever you a using)
  • Once the spinach has wilted add the heavy cream and stir to combine
  • Serve and Enjoy!
