Brown the bacon, sausage and then add your onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onions are softened
Add the chicken broth and potatoes and bring to a boil
Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover
Simmer until the potatoes are tender
Remove from the heat and add the water and spinach (or kale, whichever you a using)
Once the spinach has wilted add the heavy cream and stir to combine
