Blueberry French Toast Casserole

This overnight breakfast casserole has a lemon glaze over the top that brings it to another level. You will love this combination of lemon and blueberry.
Servings 6

Ingredients
  

  • Butter to Grease the Pan
  • ½ French Bread Loaf
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 C Milk
  • ½ c Brown Sugar
  • ¼ C Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1 T Vanilla
  • 1- 1.5 C Blueberries
  • 1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Splash of Milk if needed

Instructions
 

  • Butter your 8×8 pan and set aside
  • Cube the French loaf and set aside
  • In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, mascarpone, vanilla and the brown sugar
  • Mix with an electric mixer or immersion blender.
  • Add cubed bread and top with blueberries
  • Stir to combine and once thoroughly mixed place in your buttered pan
  • Refrigerate overnight or until all the custard mixture has been absorbed by the bread.
  • The next day place pan in a cold oven and bring oven temperature to 350.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then mix together the powdered sugar, the juice of the lemon and a splash of milk, stir to combine and top the warm casserole with the glaze.

  • Butter to grease your 8×8 pan
  • ½ French Loaf
  • ½ pound cooked pork sausage
  • 1 C Whole Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 C Shredded Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Butter your 8×8 pan and set aside
  • Cube the French loaf and set aside
  • In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper and sausage
  • Add the cubed bread
  • Stir to combine and once thoroughly mixed place in your buttered pan
  • Refrigerate overnight or until all the egg mixture has been absorbed by the bread.
  • The next day place pan in a cold oven and bring oven temperature to 350.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes

Sausage Balls

These sausage balls are such an easy breakfast treat! Just a few ingredients needed and they freeze beautifully.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Pork Sausage
  • 2 C Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ C Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 C Bisquick
  • ½ C Water if needed

Instructions
 

  • Combine and shape into 1 inch balls
  • Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes
  • *these can be premade and frozen. If you are cooking frozen sausage balls bake at 350 for 30 minutes

Shortcut Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Elevate your frozen biscuits by making this delicious sausage gravy to go on top.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 frozen biscuits or the ones in a tube whichever is easiest for you baked to the package directions
  • 1/2 package of Tennessee Pride Mild Sausage
  • 1/4 c Flour
  • 4 T Butter
  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown the pork sausage
  • Add 4 T of butter to the hot pan of sausage
  • Add flour, salt and pepper and stir to combine
  • Add milk and bring to a simmer until the gravy has thickened.
  • Serve gravy over the cooked biscuits
