Honey Sesame Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients
- 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Diced
- 1 8 oz can Water Chestnuts Diced
- 1 Diced Green Pepper or Zucchini
- 1/4 c Diced Onion
- 1 Garlic Clove Minced
- 1/2 c Honey
- 1/4 c Soy Sauce
- 2 T Rice Vinegar
- 1 T Sesame Seeds
- 1 t Ground Ginger this does give it a little kick if you are spice sensitive reduce this to 1/2 t
- 1/2 t Black Pepper
- 1/4 t Salt
- Romaine Lettuce for lettuce wrap
- 1 T Chopped Scallions optional
Instructions
- Make the honey sesame sauce by combining garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Sauté onions, chicken, bell pepper (or the zucchini if you are using that instead of the bell pepper), and water chestnuts
- Top with sauce and bring to a simmer
- Remove from heat
- Using the romaine lettuce, create your lettuce wrap
- Serve and Enjoy
