Slow Cooker Ragu

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkg Pasta We are only making 2 servings so be sure to check your pasta box for those measurements
  • 1 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 T Diced Onion
  • 2 T Diced Celery
  • 2 T Diced Carrot
  • Olive Oil
  • 2 T Red Wine
  • ½ c Beef or Vegetable Broth
  • 1/2 T Tomato Paste
  • 1 14 oz can of Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef

Instructions
 

  • Brown Ground Beef
  • Place all the ingredients except the pasta into the slow cooker and cook on High for 3 Hours (or until your veggies are tender)
  • When you have 20 minutes left in your slow cooker, cook the pasta until it is al dente, and reserve 1 cup of the pasta water
  • Place the al dente pasta into the slow cooker with the reserved pasta water and stir to combine
  • Cook in the slow cooker until the pasta is cooked through
  • Give it one last stir to distribute the ragu evenly over the pasta
  • Serve and Enjoy!
