Shepherd’s Pie from Leftovers

If you have leftover mashed potatoes and ground beef, try this delicious Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 T Diced Onions
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced
  • ½ lb Browned Ground Beef
  • 2 c Frozen Peas and Carrots
  • 1 t Tomato Paste
  • 1 T Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 T Flour
  • 1/8 t Black Pepper
  • 1- 1.5 C Beef Broth If you want it saucier add 1/5 c of Beef Broth for a thicker beef Broth add 1 c of Beef broth
  • 1-2 T Butter cut into slices
  • Leftover Mashed Potatoes

Instructions
 

  • Sauté diced onions and garlic
  • Add ground beef and frozen peas and carrots
  • Add 1 T flour and black pepper and stir to combine
  • Add tomato paste, Worcestershire Sauce and beef broth
  • Bring to a boil and reduce the heat until thickened
  • Add Mashed Potatoes to the top
  • Add butter to the top of the potatoes
  • Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
