Sausage and Lentil Soup for One

This is my version of Carrabba’s Sausage and Lentil Soup. I do not add pasta to mine, but if you’d like ¼ c Ditalini Pasta is what I would recommend.
- 1 Italian Sausage Link casing removed and Browned 1/4 lb
- ¼ c Dry Lentils that have been rinsed
- 1.5 c Chicken Broth
- ¼ c Petite Diced Tomatoes
- 2 T Onion
- 2 T Celery
- 2 T Carrots
- ¼ t Minced Garlic or Garlic Powder
- ¼ t Oregano
- 1/8 t Thyme
- ¼ t Basil
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
