Bring the steak to room temperature and season with seasoning blend or salt and pepper
Place oil in a pan and preheat pan until it’s hot
Place steak into the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side
Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes

A few helpful tips:The temperatures for steak cooking times are:Rare 120 degreesMedium Rare 130 degreesMedium 140 degreesMedium Well 150 degreesWell Done 160 degreesPull your steaks out of the pan when they are a little less than your ideal cook temperature. You will have some carry over cooking as the steak is removed from the heat.Take the steak out of the pan to cool-don’t leave it in the pan it will continue to cook if you do.
