Pan Seared Steak

Ingredients
  

  • Steak
  • Steak Seasoning or Salt and Pepper
  • 1 T Oil

Instructions
 

  • Bring the steak to room temperature and season with seasoning blend or salt and pepper
  • Place oil in a pan and preheat pan until it’s hot
  • Place steak into the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side
  • Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes
  • Enjoy!

Notes

A few helpful tips:
The temperatures for steak cooking times are:
Rare 120 degrees
Medium Rare 130 degrees
Medium 140 degrees
Medium Well 150 degrees
Well Done 160 degrees
Pull your steaks out of the pan when they are a little less than your ideal cook temperature. You will have some carry over cooking as the steak is removed from the heat.
Take the steak out of the pan to cool-don’t leave it in the pan it will continue to cook if you do.
