Crockpot Green Chile Chicken Casserole

Crockpot Green Chile Chicken Casserole is a creamy, cheesy slow-cooked dish featuring shredded chicken, and Salsa Verde. It delivers bold Southwestern flavors with minimal effort
- 1 Cooked Chicken Breast Shredded
- 1 Flour Tortilla Diced or substitute 2 Corn Tortillas Diced
- 7-8 oz Salsa Verde
- ¼ c Sour Cream
- ¼ c Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/8 t Garlic Powder
- 1/8 t Onion Powder
- 1/8 t Chili Powder
- 1/8 t Cumin
- Optional Toppings Avocado Diced Jalapeno, or Diced Tomatoes
Combine sour cream, seasonings and shredded chicken in a bowl.
Spray the crockpot to prevent sticking.
Place a tablespoon of salsa to the bottom of crockpot.
Layer the tortillas with tortillas, sauce, chicken mixture and cheese ending with a layer of tortillas, sauce and cheese
Cook on High for 1.5 Hours or on Low for 3.5 Hours
