Crockpot Green Chile Chicken Casserole

Crockpot Green Chile Chicken Casserole is a creamy, cheesy slow-cooked dish featuring shredded chicken, and Salsa Verde. It delivers bold Southwestern flavors with minimal effort

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cooked Chicken Breast Shredded
  • 1 Flour Tortilla Diced or substitute 2 Corn Tortillas Diced
  • 7-8 oz Salsa Verde
  • ¼ c Sour Cream
  • ¼ c Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/8 t Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 t Onion Powder
  • 1/8 t Chili Powder
  • 1/8 t Cumin
  • Optional Toppings Avocado Diced Jalapeno, or Diced Tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • Combine sour cream, seasonings and shredded chicken in a bowl.
  • Spray the crockpot to prevent sticking.
  • Place a tablespoon of salsa to the bottom of crockpot.
  • Layer the tortillas with tortillas, sauce, chicken mixture and cheese ending with a layer of tortillas, sauce and cheese
  • Cook on High for 1.5 Hours or on Low for 3.5 Hours
  • Enjoy!
