Did you know you could make grits in your slow cooker? I had no idea, and when I found out I just had to try it! The recipe uses my Creole seasoning blend and my House seasoning blend so I’ll link both of those below.

Here is the recipe:
Crockpot Shrimp and Grits for One
Ingredients
- 6 Frozen Shrimp one serving
- 1/3 C Grits one serving
- 1 ½ C Chicken Broth
- 1 t House Seasoning
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 1 T Creole Seasoning. If you are using a store bought Creole Seasoning blend bump this down to a teaspoon.
- 2 T Heavy Cream or Milk
- 1/3 c Shredded Cheese
- Cooking Spray for Crockpot
Instructions
- Using the cooking spray, spray the inside of your crockpot
- Combine all ingredients except the cream and cheese
- Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Stir in Cheese and Cream
- Enjoy!
