Crock Pot Shrimp and Grits For One

Hi friend!

Did you know you could make grits in your slow cooker? I had no idea, and when I found out I just had to try it! The recipe uses my Creole seasoning blend and my House seasoning blend so I’ll link both of those below.

The simple shrimp and grits recipe can easily be doubled if you are making this for two. I prefer my Creole Seasong Blend, but a store bought version works fine too.

Ingredients

  • 6 Frozen Shrimp one serving
  • 1/3 C Grits one serving
  • 1 ½ C Chicken Broth
  • 1 t House Seasoning
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 1 T Creole Seasoning. If you are using a store bought Creole Seasoning blend bump this down to a teaspoon.
  • 2 T Heavy Cream or Milk
  • 1/3 c Shredded Cheese
  • Cooking Spray for Crockpot

Instructions

  • Using the cooking spray, spray the inside of your crockpot
  • Combine all ingredients except the cream and cheese
  • Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Stir in Cheese and Cream
  • Enjoy!

If you are a fan of grits I encourage you to try this recipe. It was SO easy and it turned out delicious!

Let me know if you make it, I’d love to know what you think.

Have a fabulous day!
