If you grew up on creamy comfort meals, Chicken à la King probably has a special place in your heart. Traditionally it’s made in big family-sized batches, but today we’re scaling it down to a perfectly portioned recipe for two people — ideal for date night, solo cooks who love leftovers, or anyone craving a cozy, budget-friendly dinner without the fuss.
This small-batch version uses simple ingredients, cooks quickly on the stovetop, and delivers that classic creamy, savory flavor you expect from Chicken à la King. Serve it over French bread, toast, biscuits, or egg noodles and you’ve got a warm, satisfying meal that feels like a hug in a bowl.
