Bacon Jam

This bacon jam has the perfect mix of savory and sweet. Serve this over a burger or serve it over cream cheese as a delicious party appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Slices of Bacon
  • 2 Onions Sliced
  • 1/3 c Cold Coffee
  • ½ c Brown Sugar
  • 1 T Balsamic Vinegar
  • ½ c Water

Instructions
 

  • Brown bacon in pan.
  • Once bacon is cooked push to the side of the pan and cook onions in the bacon grease.
  • Brown onions, this may take 10-15 minutes.
  • Once onions have caramelized add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until most of the liquid has cooked out remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

Tzatziki Sauce

This creamy yogurt sauce is great on burgers, in Chicken Gyros or Shawarma.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c Greek Yogurt
  • ½ c Grated Cucumber
  • Juice of ½ of a lemon
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1 t Greek Seasoning Blend You can substitute 1/2 t of both Oregano and Basil if you don't have the Greek Seasoning Blend (but if you have these you should make the blend the recipe is on on the website)

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

Greek Seasoning Blend

This Greek seasoning blend is great as a salad dressing seasoning, a vegtable seasoning or on chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 T Oregano
  • 2 T Basil
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1 T Onion Powder
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 t Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all spices and store in an airtight container.

Pickled Veggies

These pickled veggies are fabulous on a burger, a salad, or serve as a side dish. This recipe is for a 12 ounce jar. If you jar is larger simply add another half cup of sliced veggies.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 c Thinly Sliced Veggies. I use radishes, carrots, red onion and cucumber
  • 2 Cloves Garlic thinly sliced if you have a large clove just use one
  • ¼ t Black Peppercorns
  • ¼ t Salt
  • ½ t Sugar
  • 11/2 c Vinegar
  • ½ c Water

Instructions
 

  • Place veggies in a glass jar. Bring other ingredients to a boil.
  • Once it is boiling pour into the jar over the veggies.
  • Allow to sit for 12-24 hours.
  • This will stay fresh for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
  • Enjoy!

Pimento Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • ½ c Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ c Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 T Chopped Roasted Red Peppers
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • ¼ t Onion Powder
  • ¼ t Ground Mustard
  • 1/8 t Cayenne Pepper more as needed to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  • Enjoy!

Mayo Free Pimento Cheese

This Pimento Cheese Uses Greek Yogurt instead of Mayo
Servings 6

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 oz. of Roasted Red Peppers or a 4 oz jar of pimentos
  • 1 8 oz. block of Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 C Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 t Onion Powder
  • 1/4 t Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 t Ground Mustard

Instructions
 

  • Combine and enjoy!

All 4 of these toppings were fabulous on our burgers! My favorite was the bacon jam, you should really try that one!
